When we started, signage for corner properties was placed on the corner at a 45 degree angle. JoAnn said no way. There are two streets, we put up two signs. Today, you will never see any agent angle set signage.

When we started, there were no teams. We said our clients need personal service, so we created a process with a licensed expert at each step of the way. Today, everyone claims to be a team.

When we started, square footage disputes were common. We decided to have all our listings appraiser-measured and when one of our transactions was challenged in court, we made new law. Today the onus is on the buyer to verify square footage. Period. It is taught in the schools, and we are given credit for it.

One day JoAnn decided to hang a “Coming Soon” sign to tweak interest on listings that were not quite ready to show. This was a whole new idea. No one had ever done this. What followed was a revolution in pre-marketing property and along with it came abuse by agents who manipulated the process to exclude other agents from offering. In 2020, MLS made “Coming Soon” an Official Status and we were part of that process.
